Earlier this year on Sex and Politics, I interviewed Reena Shadaan, an activist trying to get compensation for victims to cover their losses from the Bhopal disaster. I had posted about the story on my blog here, but there were problems with the show and it was never mounted to the website. I have posted an un-edited version of the show, and people can listen now. It’s here.

This is the 30th anniversary of the worst non-nuclear industrial accident in history. It’s time for Union Carbide (which bought out Dow and is therefore responsible for compensating the victims) to do the right thing.
