Bradley Manning Evidentiary hearing on April 10

protest outside the Bradley Manning hearing on 4/10. From Leaksource.

Ups and downs in yesterday’s hearing for Manning regarding charges and evidence. Judge Lind made it clear that the prosecution would have to show intent if it wanted to charge Manning under the Espionage Act laws and the Army’s assisting the enemy code. But the Army will be able to present a witness who purportedly was a member of the SEAL team that dispatched Osama Bin Laden. And there is some dispute about how much of the trial will be open to the public.

I’d tell you more, but the individual who runs the Leaksource site does a much better job than I could. So go visit him here.
