May Day has arrived. If you’re in New York and you want to know what’s going on, there are worse places to look for information than here. I realize Huffington Post posted a eulogy for the Occupy Movement yesterday, and the movement obviously doesn’t have the energy it did a year ago at this time. At the same time, the basics that Occupy was willing to call out haven’t changed. We’re still in one war looking to get into another one, the economy is starting to tank again, employment is ‘improving’ because the BLS is not counting discouraged workers who’ve dropped out of the labor force, and the Banksters who wrecked the economy in 2008 haven’t been perp walked. In fact, the banksters haven’t even been indicted for new crimes they’ve committed.
