From my friends at the Campaign For Accountability of American Bases, who’ve been protesting the NSA Menwith Hill facility grabbing electronic data from all of Europe over the past 20+ years. They could have told us the US was behaving badly (i.e., spying on us for no good reason), but we weren’t paying attention.

NSA Menwith Hill is the largest US intelligence gathering and surveillance base outside the US. It is secret, unaccountable and out of control of the UK government.
